Q & A

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Find out what the student is interested in learning, then working out a plan to cover that interest. Keep the path that will stretch your acting abilities without overacting!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been acting and directing for over 40 years.  I mostly do stage work, but have done episodic TV and some Movies.  I've won numerous local awards and usually act or direct in 2-3 shows a year.

How did you get started teaching?

I've done local workshops.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types and ages from 8 to 80! Yes 80! I used to teach Senior Acting in Woodbridge

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Be willing to work and get the nerves out of the way first thing.  If this is your biggest issue holding you back...let me know I can help you with that!
