Ken Bowie Drum Lessons

About

Ken is an experienced and versatile drummer with a love of performing and a love of teaching. He has a Bachelor of Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University as well as a wealth of experience as both a performing musician and as a teacher. Ken teaches technique (including double bass drum), reading, timekeeping/patterns for various styles, and improvisation/soloing; all with the needs and interests of the student in mind.

Ken teaches students of all ages, from young children to older adults. He guides every student for success within each lesson. Whether you're new to the drums or interested in taking your playing to another level, private lessons with an experienced, compassionate teacher will have many benefits.
