Eastside Dream Elite is the #1 recreational cheer and dance program on the Eastside and in Seattle. We have classes and camps in Bellevue, Mercer Island, Renton, Kirkland, and Seattle. We offer cheerleading, dance, and tumbling instruction for ages 5-18. We also have a squad for people with developmental disabilities of all ages.
Although our focus is community performances and events, we also have a competition team that has won the Washington State Junior Championships for the last five years. We offer quality instruction at affordable prices.

I love Coach Anne's direct approach. She isn't running a kinder-care system. She's teaching your kids that hard work is worthwhile. Of course there is a ton of love, support, and FUN that goes with it, but underneath it all, there are a lot of life lessons going on, too. To sum up our experience across three of EDE's teams, I'll quote the head coach herself, "It's good to have fun, but it's FUN to be good." Don't wait to enroll in this program. Do it RIGHT NOW.
We have several entry times during the year where we welcome new students and often start working on a new routine. We have some of our more experienced students work with our new students to get them caught up on the basics. We love getting new students in our classes!
Anne Christiansen - I am the head coach for Eastside Dream Elite. I have a B.A. in Communications and an M.A. in Higher Education. I am the Recreation Cheer Director for the Washington State Cheer Coaches Association (WSCCA) and have served on the WSCCA board of directors since 2005. I am stunt certified, certified to judge cheerleading both in Washington and nationally, and I am AACCA certified as well. I was awarded WSCCA Coach of the Year in 2010 and 2015, EDE was named WSCCA Program of the Year in 2014 and 2015, and was inducted into the WSCCA Hall of Fame in 2017.
Our class fees vary by team and location. Please see our website for registration links and pricing.
I have been a dancer all my life, was on my high school's Drill Team, and have always loved teaching and coaching. I fell into coaching cheerleading accidentally way back in 1999, but it has truly become my passion in the ensuing years.
I work with every kind of student imaginable!
I had the opportunity in 2018 to go to Japan and teach cheerleading to a group of students there. One of the other EDE coaches came with me and she performed with a professional cheer squad at two basketball games. It was a trip of a lifetime!
Make sure you check certifications and experience! If you get into more advanced cheerleading (specifically stunting and tumbling), you need to make sure you find coaches who are trained and know how to teach these sometimes dangerous skills. Safety should always be the most important factor!
