I own my own home rehearsal studio the size of a small venue. Equipped with 4 large speakers, 24 channel mixing board, recording and live streaming gear, FX lighting. Just a ton of cool stuff to make my lessons feel like you're on stage!
Coming from a non-musical family, I quickly learned that having the talent and accessibilty to create music is a privilege, that same privilege is something I want to be able to give to my students.
There is no greater feeling than having a crowd cheer for you after a spectacular performance and I want my students to experience that same feeling one day!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will meet with the student. We will talk about their knowledge and skill level with a drum set. I'll usually ask for them to play something for me on the drums. From there I would want to know what type of music the student is interested in. If there is anything specific the student would like to work on such as rudiment exercises or double bass drum pedaling.
This helps me determine the best course of action for me to take when I create my students' lessons!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have knowledge of FX lighting, live sound engineering, and I have some experience using DAWs(Digital Audio Workstation).
