Ray H. says, "I had always wanted to learn piano and I wanted to have something that my kids and I could learn together. I needed someone who was going to be good with both adults and kids and Rachel fit that perfectly. Rachel helped me by being so patient and encouraging. She made the learning process really fun but always challenged us to try to push ourselves in our learning. Her encouragement helped us want to practice in between lessons and we looked forward to her visits. She helped grow our love of learning music instead of making it feel like a chore. We were always excited to learn new songs and new lessons. My kids were very comfortable learning from Rachel. When they were struggling or made mistakes, her encouragement helped them to push through and make great improvements. I would highly recommend Rachel as a piano instructor to people who want someone to foster an enjoyment of music and instill artistry in their lives. ~ Diana Milligan" Read more

It's time to bring out and showcase that talent in playing the piano! I am very much interested to help you learn the basics or take you to the next level. I will adjust to your pacing and progress. I have been your teacher, friend, encourager, and supporter since 1978, for last 47 years. The most important thing is you have to have a piano or a keyboard (88 keys and pedals) for practicing the stuffs what you learn in my classes. Sorry I don’t accept the students who don’t have any instruments at your home. Thankfully I made lots of winners of many competitions and some of them are professional pianists. Text me to know more! I can’t pick up...

I am a former public school music teacher with over 15 years of experience in teaching private piano lessons. I enjoy teaching both adults and children and I work hard to adjust each lesson to meet the needs of individual learners. I believe that the key to becoming a great musician is in patient and consistent practice. I teach every student to become a self-regulated practicer who has a toolbox of techniques for practicing well. I expect my students to come lessons prepared and ready to demonstrate their practice, but I know that students need to be taught how to practice well and that every student will learn in different ways. I also be

One of the reasons I love teaching music is because it opens the door to great opportunities for my students. For those students who are learning to develop their singing voice or play an instrument, music is an experience that activates creative genius. My students learn how to train their ear to recognize musical patterns in the songs they’re learning to sing and play as they develop the skills to recognize when their voice and instrument are out of tune. I also coach students in how to play their music and practice between lessons so that they are building their music muscles as they become strong musicians. I’ve been teaching voice, pi

First and foremost shes brilliant. Shes energetic, observant, receptive, flexible, attentive, animated, modestly eclectic, very approachable, very knowledge and I personally recommend her 12 times out of 10. She has taught me techniques, and new ways to expand my vocal range, how to "tell the story" of songs, how to make a song my own and articulation is key. I can go on and on of what shes taught me but I'm a better vocalist and performer than I ever have been in my life and I cant thank her enough for it. If you're reading this just give her a call you'll love her trust me😊

I really appreciate Emiko's patience and ability to motivate my children playing piano. Yes we all acknowledge that there has been some tough days time to time (especially during my kid's teenage periods), however, we all went through this exciting journey of piano performance with such a joy until my girl successfully enrolled to MIT. Thank you, Emiko for endurance, patience, ability to communicate effectively about love of music. My girl still plays piano, due to the solid foundation and techniques acquired from Emiko's wonderful teaching.

Well, of course, it helped that we are both sopranos! That said, she was good at paying attention to both my potential and my limits as a singer. She did an excellent job of teaching me to breathe properly which is far more necessary for a singer than I had ever imagined. So is posture. The more voice lessons I had with her, the more relaxed and confident I grew. And I had a lot of fun just being near her and listening to her sing something before I attempted to sing the same thing she had just sung. In her presence there was a beautiful balance between the hard work of singing and the joy and fun that singing brings to our souls and bodies.
