I have been a working professional in Theatre, film and television for the past 40 years! I have been a writer for local television series, I have been in several fils and I have performed in literally hundreds of plays from new works to Shakepeare! I am currently a working artist and a high chool teacher- theatre only- in Bellevue. I believe that theatre and Acting are the most important skill a person can learn. Everything you need to be successful, happy, fulfilled and a leader you learn from Theatre. I am very well versed in many style of acting including Hagen, Method, Adler and Alexander. I also specialize in Improv! I work well with students by brining out the best in them by building them up and not tearing them down. MAny of my student have gone on to professional careers in films, television, and Broadway! I love Theatre and I love working with Theatre students! I am dedicate to your success, not just in theatre, but in life!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with the student. The first and most important thing to understand is how you like to work. I like to work my process around the student's talents by building on their strenghts. We start with monologues and how to approuch a character. We will use acting methods like Hagen's nine questions and Adler's side coaching. We will also work on how to present yourself to a casting director and how to work on camera. The process is geared towards giving the student the confidence and tools they will need to understand and use the acting process.
