Bellydance is friendly to all ages and all body types!
These courses cover the basic foundation movements of bellydancing by building on steps learned from week to week. These courses are easy to follow, easy to retain, and fun! It will also provide you with a low impact workout that improves flexibility and coordination.
Bellydance is great in that it teaches each person to connect with themselves, their personal movement and connect with their inner fierceness. My favorite part of being an instructor is seeing students have their "aha" moments of connecting to a movement, and also finding their flow.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
currently we are online for zoom classes. They'll need a link, register, then are sent the link day of class. Class wise we start with home position/body alignment, musical timing, and how to create each movement muscularly. As we grow in dance together, we start with the feet (timing), and build from there (body movement) so that all levels of dancers are challenged.
