Bainbridge Ballet

We are full-program school with classes for 3yrs to adult. Our base is ballet and we offer jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, modern and improv. We have beginner classes for teens and adults. We also have a competitive dance team and an association with a non-profit dance company that provides performance opportunity.

The ability to watch a person grow in confidence and technique is a wondrous process. I believe that ballet is one of the most difficult arts to learn but because it is, it offers the most growth and development of both the body and mind. I was fortunate to have Doreen Gilday as my instructor and she trained with some of the greatest ballet masters of her day, Mikhail Mordkin, Michel Fokine. I have taught for 35 years, both on the east coast and west coast. I opened Bainbridge Ballet in 2003. We have three studio spaces and six teachers on staff all professional or former professional dancers.
