Founded in 1996, Velocity Dance Center has become the hub for contemporary dance in Seattle, WA and surrounding areas. With a focus on nurturing dancers of all levels, it offers daily classes in diverse movement styles. The respected center operates three studios and a theater, specially equipped for dance performances. In addition to being a premier training venue, Velocity also presents the work of emerging to established Northwest artists and hosts international dance innovators for master classes, workshops and groundbreaking performances.
