About
My love for cooking began at an early age observing and soon participating with the family’s day to day meal planning, including daily outings for local, fresh, seasonal ingredients at the neighborhood market.
My goal, as a Holistic Clinical Nutritionist has been to teach patients simple and nutritious recipes that I call "Whole Foods Cooking" tailored to an individual's health condition and their overall dietary goals. What do I mean by “whole foods”? These are foods that have a good taste, are rich in color, and pack a nutritional punch. They are free of pesticides and hormones. They are grown in a sustainable and humane way. They nourish the body and soul of the entire family.
My lessons include the following, but if you rather just have the cooking lesson, we can absolutely do just that:
· Dietary Intake Analysis.
· A trip to the grocery store, shopping on a budget, reading labels.
· Restocking and organizing kitchen pantry and refrigerator.
· Cooking Lesson with emphasis on a herbs & spices.
I love seeing everyone thrilled about cooking and choosing healthy choices. The care and attention we give the food we put in our bodies can have a profound effect on not only our physical body but our spiritual one as well. Children especially resonate with the opportunity to cook and eat together as a family. If we can instill a healthy relationship with food when they are young, demonstrating by our own behavior that meal preparation is not a chore to quickly get through, we can improve the physical and spiritual health of generations to come.
I look forward to meeting you soon!
In health,
Lobat
