About
I began my journey studying dance from Ballet to Brazilian dance. I have a BA in Dance from the University of Washington with emphasis in World Dance and Culture. I have 20 years of experience teaching dance and I am currently teaching Ballet and Creative dance for children. I have also taught Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, African, Samba and Latin Dance. I began studying and later teaching Yoga since 2000 and I am a Certified Yoga Teacher from 8 Limbs Yoga Centers in Seattle. I teach Yoga for Kids, Vinyasa Flow, Core and Yoga for people with injuries and health conditions. I became a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2012 graduating from Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Since that time, I have focused my work in Pediatrics helping kids with special needs, developmental delays, health and orthopedic conditions.
I enjoy watching my students grow, become more confident and self expressive. I believe that everyone can benefit from practicing dance and/or yoga. I love helping kids and adults that have limitations that they are learning to work with and overcome. My mission is to encourage healing through movement.
