I guide each and every student through the techniques of playing the drums. This includes, but is not limited to, notation, rudiments, all styles, songs and more. I develop a specific Lesson Plan for each student and do not use a "canned" lesson approach. I've been teaching privately in Phoenix for over 13 years and I also teach at 3 different public schools for the lat 9 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach each and every new student the fundamentals of reading and notation. This "language" is not complicated and empowers that student to learn on their own over time. It also makes learning elements of drumming easier and allows the student to understand and build upon the techniques they learn.
I've worked closely with Band Directors and Music Teachers at 3 different Pubic schools and will prepare my student for the future school band experience in Middle School, High School and even Elementary school.
