Keep It Fun
About
I will start with the basics, no matter how advanced your golf game may be. There are usually some very minor changes that will greatly improve your game
I thoroughly enjoy the game of golf, and love to share the therapeutic aspect of the game as to make it more enjoyable. I work with disabled veterans in overcoming the mental and physical challenges of their disabilities in the game of golf, much as I have myself

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student regardless of experience, I prefer to start with the most basic fundamentals. Beginning with inspecting their clubs to insure proper fit, stiffness, and comfortability. I then begin the simple physical fundamentals, while simultaneously going over rules and courtesies of the game of golf, so they have a general understanding of the game the next time they tee off.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the golf academy from 2017-2018. I have also attended numerous training events and seminars for every aspect of the game of golf.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Generally speaking I charge between $50-$60 per lesson. However, I also create packages that include fittings and recommendations. I conduct lessons to see folks improve their golf game, and begin to genuinely enjoy the game of golf, rather than trying to make a quick buck
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching once I learned how to play the game with my disabilities. I began working with veterans who like myself, struggled with the game once they began experiencing intense physical pain, or had a decrease in mobility. At one point I thought I would never be able to play golf again, which was a frightening thought, considering how much the game meant to me and was a form of therapy for me. Thus, I began instructing veterans with similar issues, and helping them continue to enjoy the game they love, or introducing them to the calming, peaceful game of golf.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, and all levels of experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Not particularly a single event per se, but a golf organization that is specific to our nations veterans simply titled the “VGA,” which allows veterans of all skill levels to compete for cash prizes. The reason I have become so fond of this organization, is because at each of their events they have smaller, local veteran organizations (non paying) sponsor the events, bringing light to said organizations. I REALLY like the idea of that because those organizations a lot of times provide services and assistance to veterans that the VA does not, and the VGA brings awareness to those organizations
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Begin with seeking an instructor that seems very easy going, as the game of golf should be an easy-going game.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be sure to ask about rules and etiquette. Also ask questions about things like local events, how to find your handicap, maybe any recent rule changes, etc...
