We teach authentic traditional karate-do or in other words, Budō Karate 武道 (The Martial Way or Way of the Warrior). Karate which literally means empty hand, is a hand to hand self defense technique that was developed in the Islands of Japan over 400 years ago.

Traditional Karate is a realistic self defense combat system that requires a mature mind and complete discipline to master. We have placed stepping stones at each age group to achieve proper mastery of our program. Our primary focus is to create an environment that enables students to develop intellectually, physically and ethically.

How are we different than other “Karate” schools?

Today there are well over a 100 different off shoots of karate (To name a few: Taekwondo, Kempo Karate, Freestyle Karate, Sport Karate, Kajukenbo, Mixed Martial Arts, etc...) and here in the East Valley there is practically a martial arts school on every major cross street.
