Yes! I absolutely love the work I do! It is a blast getting to teach people and watching my students grow on their instruments be it drums or guitar. I have been teaching along side my father since I was 14 years old.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If its a person new to kit, I start off with the basic rock beats to lock down coordination on the drum kit and getting you to be able to play to a track as soon as possible, so you can see the beauty behind playing this instrument. However, If someone already plays I would like them to give a demonstration of their playing, so that way I can see what needs to be worked on and developed and then we go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with my dad who was a degreed drummer from musicians institute in california and the owner and founder of drummersrule. I started studying with him at the age of 9. When I was 14 years old I worked along side my dad teaching drums for many years.

I have worked with a wide variety of students. I teach all skill levels from beginning to advanced and all ages from 6 year olds to 62 years olds.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would ask if your only going to learn songs or if your going to learn how to improvise on the instrument.
