$90 per session
How did you get started teaching?
Coached at multiple swim camps & gave private lessons thru out my swimming career. Coached on a USA swim team immediately following retirement and have done private lessons ever since. Having a hand in major break thru's and improvements is my passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
Having several world renowned coaches on my journey helped me to see different perspectives and coaching styles. Whether your a competitive swimmer wanting elite level advice that will directly translate to immediate improvements, or someone brand new to the sport...I enjoy coaching all levels (age 10+). All sessions are custom tailored to your goals and objectives. Some possible areas of focus could be:
-Stroke and Technique
-Fitness/competition Training
-Dives & Turns
-Race Strategy
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Teaching someone how to swim faster and more efficiently comes from making changes to underlying issues that are at play. It's best to work with someone who can identify those issues, communicate them in an easy to understand way and then provide an exact way to make corrections. Efficient swimming is fun swimming!
