About

I have knowledge and experience built up over the past 7 years, and started this with my sister because we loved swimming and wanted others to feel the same. My students begin to make progress very soon into lessons. It’s not just teaching them to be a better swimmer but also learning to be safe and to love the sport. I’m certified to be an instructor, personal trainer, and have a cpr/first aid certification as well. So not only will i know how to personalize swim lessons towards my students but will know where their body needs improvment and will show the exersises to compliment and develop programs to follow. Worked with higher skill swim teams and and those never been in water. I’ve helped develop programs for disabled and the elderly, because everyone should learn how to swim and it’s never too late.

I enjoy seeing my students happing to be moving forward and making progress. I want them to learn so they no longer will need an instructor and feel comfortable continued practicing on their own. I love to see the parents involved with their children to encourage them towards success.

Niko was great about communicating with me prior to the first lesson to address any concerns. He was always on time, polite and patient with my 4 yr old granddaughter. Niko is knowledgeable and his expertise shines. A great hire.

Frequently asked questions

Start off with a fit test to see where they stand physically with balance, core strength, and endurance. Then seeing what they personally need to improve on and work from there. Talking to the student and parents about their goals for the lessons. Then setting up their goals and benchmarks so they continue to see improvements and stay motivated.

I have been teaching lessons for 7  years and swim team for 3 years in a school and club teams. i am certified swim instructor and personal trainer so i can see what needs work on and know what excersises to supplement in on how to improve based on thir physical aspects.

Depending on skill level and lesson length, anywhere from 20-60 per session. Depending on whether you want a program to follow as well that will be designed for you.

30 min session- Just focusing on swimming and technique

1 hr session- A small workout and knowledge followed by a swim lesson

Started with the city of Phoenix when I was 15 and became one of the youngest insrructors.

I’ve worked with month old children all the way to late 60’s I teach all ages. i work with disabilities as well and created special programs for everyone individually.

while i was working as a Personal Trainig Director through La Fitness i was checking in on one of my eldery couples while working with their trainer and they were telling me they nevered learned to swim. i proceded to change their programing to compliment swimming and started taking them to the pool for lessons twice a week and within a month they were more comfortable swimming on their own then they ever have been.

If you are looking to hire an instructor make sure that you sit down before hand to see if you will work well together. if you dont like or feel comfortable with your instructor you won't make progress.

They need to figure what they want out of it and when they want it by. you should be prepared to talk to your instructor about your strength and weakness that may help you or may be holding you back.
