Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
While working with golfers of all skill levels, it is imperative to be an excellent communicator and motivator. I can assure all of my students will have a basic understanding of a golf swing and exactly what we are working and why. Keep it simple.
I follow up our work with video reviews that I will email to you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS Degree in Professional Golf Management and spent the majority of my career as a Head Golf Professional at private clubs and resorts. I teach in the summer at True North Golf Club in Harbor Springs, MI.
I have 30 years experience in coaching all ages and skill levels of golfers. Including working under the tutelage of Top 50 Golf Instructor Tim Mahoney.

Please inquire about pricing and group or individual sessions.
How did you get started teaching?
My personal interaction with golfers is my favorite part of the business. I was fortunate to work for one of the finest coaches in the game early in my career. He inspired me to be the best that I can be, both on and off the golf course.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all levels of golfers. Most of my time is spent working with golfers new to the game or those that have been playing for several years that find themselves lost in the game.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a good track record of producing results in a positive environment. Reviews from current students is very important.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Be direct and communicate what you are looking for and what you are willing to do to accomplish that goal.
