No need to pack your kids up and drive down to some facility miles away from home! If you have a pool I'll teach lessons at your own home! I teach all ages from 2 1/2 to adults! I also coach competitve lessons to help perfect your swimmers technigue! I have swam competitively in highschool and won the title of State Champion.
I have coached kids in swim for 8 years, both in learning how to swim and in competative teams.
I love the sport and firmly believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to swim.
I know how hard it is to be a parent, (with a 3 yr old of my own) which is why I offer the convenience of coming to your home and pool myself. Making mom or dads life a little easier!
I beleive everbody should know how to swim and be safe around water, I also enjoy watching my students progress and accomplish the goals we set. Coaching a child isn't just about getting them to swim faster or better, it's about getting them to love the sport. Nothing makes me happier then watching a student grow into a true swimmer who can't wait to get into the water.
With younger children I love seeing them become more comfortable and safe in the water and start to develop early swim skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every Child is different, I like to start off my lessons by figuring out how comfortable and skilled my new swimmer is. After the first couple of lessons we begin to work on skills and technigues suited for a new or beggening swimmer. like i said ever child learns differently and at their own pace.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught lessons for over 8 years and coached USA club teams as well. I am familiar with all USA swimming rules and regulations along with lifeguard and first aid training. I have worked with all ages from toddlers to even adults.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $150 for one child that is 4 lessons, once a week.
$50 extra for every swimmer after the first.
twice a week options are available as well please contact phone/email about twice a week options
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching younger cousins of mine and began working for a swim lesson company and club teams. I recently moved into a new area and began teaching private at home lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with ALL ages from toddlers to even adults. Wether your just learning how to swim or wanting to perfect that Butterfly stroke! I have worked with people with aquaphobia, and children with special needs. I Beleieve everyone should learn to swim no matter what!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Swimming is tough thats for sure, It takes time practice and discipline. Everybody learns diffferently espeically kids.
