Swing Golf

I started studying golf in 1999 and advanced through the years to 2 hole-in-ones and a low score of 69. After playing in the Phoenix Amatuer tournament in 2006, I determined that I was not going to advance far enough to win tournaments due to my physical limitations, but I retained a strong desire to teach others.

I enjoy seeing folks like myself improve to the point of getting excited to hit the links and shave off another few stroked from their scores. There is 'knowing' and then there is 'execution', and that is what I try to build the bridge for the student to knowing how to execute what has been taught.

Frequently asked questions

First we get together and determine the goal behind learning to play better golf.  Then we work to improve all facets of the game to provide the kind of results that the student is looking for.

I started playing golf in my 20's, since my mother was the Montana State Amatuer champion, but when I was turning 40, my goal became more than just golfing better but to play on the Senior tour.  What I learned was it takes an enormous amount of effort and money to get that far, and had to settle for recreational golf.
