About this pro

I love to teach the game of golf been doing it for about 35 years. I really hate to see people on the course, struggling, and not enjoying what they are doing. I will help anyone that wants it, I do not belive that one golf swing fits everyone. what I do is take the natural swing off the person that I am working with, and try to bring out the good parts of it to make a repeatable golf swing, this game can bring great enjoyment, and that is what I am about.

I love to watch clients who come to me learn the basic golf swing and how to make contact with the golf ball and then go forth to the golf course and enjoy the game

Don has been an incredible golf coach! My fiance and I have been taking lessons with Don for a few months now and both our swings are drastically better now. We both went from barely being able to hit the ball to being able to make consistent and reliable contact every swing. Don breaks down your swing into simple and understandable steps that make it easy to replicate. He's super friendly and will have you actually enjoying learning how to play golf. I highly recommend learning from Don!

Don was very knowledgeable and was able to break my swing down into workable parts. He gave me a few things to work on that have already made a positive impact on my game. I will be back to take more lessons from Don!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to meet them and get a little information on their problem, and decide what I need to do to help them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked with PGA pros , and played with them. I am also a USGA pro,and have worked with Children, and adults I have enjoyed it to a great deal.and as I have said before I have been playing the game for more than 60 years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes I charge $50.00 an hour, and on play arounds I charge the same as it is a playing lesson.

How did you get started teaching?

many years ago I was playing with a gentilman, who was struggling with his game and was not enjoying his day,one thing I really dislike is to see a person play and not have a good time, so I asked him if he would like a little help, and he said do you think you can really help, and I said all I could promise is that I would try, He said ok, and at the end of the day he gave me a $ 50.00 and said he had not had such a good time in a long time, and he told me that I should teach as I really had helped him and that was the way I got started.

What types of students have you worked with?

Men, women, Childern, all ages some kids as young as 5 and men and women as old as eighty.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

All golf tourments!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would tell then to just meet the coach, and ask the questions that he needs to ask, just as the coach should do.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

That would all depend on their knowledge of the game and what it is they belive they are doing wrong,
