About
I love to teach the game of golf...I've been playing it for about 65 years. I really hate to see people on the course who are struggling, and not enjoying what they are doing. I will help anyone that wants it. I do not believe that one golf swing fits everyone. What I do, is take the natural swing of the person that I am working with and try to bring out the good parts of it to make a repeatable golf swing. This game can bring great enjoyment, and that is what I am about.
I love to watch clients who come to me learn the basic golf swing and how to make contact with the golf ball and then go forth to the golf course and enjoy the game.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet them and get a little information on their problem, and decide what I need to do to help them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked with PGA pros , and played with them. I am also a USGA pro, and have worked with children, and adults. I have enjoyed it to a great deal, and as I have said before, I have been playing the game for more than 65years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I charge $50.00 an hour, plus $15 for two buckets of practice balls. On play arounds I charge the same as it is a playing lesson. (No Sunday lessons available.)
How did you get started teaching?
Many years ago, I was playing with a gentleman, who was struggling with his game and was not enjoying his day. One thing I really dislike is to see a person play and not have a good time, so I asked him if he would like a little help, and he said, "Do you think you can really help?", and I said all I could promise is that I would try. He said "Ok.", and at the end of the day he gave me a $50 bill and said he had not had such a good time in a long time. He told me that I should teach, as I really had helped him.
What types of students have you worked with?
Men, women, children of all ages - some as young as 5, and men and women as old as 80.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
All golf tourments!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would tell them to just meet the coach, and ask the questions that he/she needs to ask, just as the coach should do.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
That would all depend on their knowledge of the game and what it is they believe they are doing wrong.
