Rebekah Sharpton Mattern

Tucson Vocal Arts was established in November 2024, but owner, Rebekah Sharpton Mattern has been teaching voice lessons since 2011. She began teaching during her time as a vocal performance student at the University of Arizona at Cecilia Whitby Studio which has since closed. She graduated with her Bachelor of Music degree with a focus in Voice performance in 2013. Since then, she has honed her skills as a teacher by operating her own voice studios and offering enriching programs and recitals for her students in California, Maine, and Colorado. Now, back in Arizona with her Husband and daughter, she is in Tucson again to stay.

Our mission is to provide protective voice techniques to grade-school students, which help the student both grow stronger vocal technique while protecting them from voical fatigue and vocal injuries and provide enriching performance opportunities to the students.
