Swimming Tiger
About
I make it convenient and affordable to teach kids and adult swim lessons in their own pool, whether that's your backyard pool or an apartment complex pool.
I have over 16 years of swim teacher/coach experience and have been the Aquatics Coordinator for a local community college's Community Service Dept in Los Angeles for the last five and a half years, overseeing 15 swim instructors and running that swim program.
In addition to swim instruction, I've been an active lifeguard for over 16 years, with current American Red Cross certificates in Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR and AED. (I'm available to lifeguard private pool parties. Please text inquiries to 818.400.3896)
In regards to swim instruction, please text me so we can arrange a time to talk about a swim lesson program for either children or adults.
Whether you are a complete beginner or would like to improve on your various strokes, I'm here to help get you where you want to be with your swimming!
As I've developed my swim teaching skills over the years and have gotten positive feedback from parents and students, I understand the gratitude that a teacher feels when they make a positive impact on a student's life. After all, the Art Of Swimming is an activity one can enjoy into their golden years. What a valuable skill to possess and enjoy your whole life!
I sometimes wonder if one day, that 85 year old grandfather will mention that way back when, a guy by the name of Coach Stew taught him how to swim when he was 6 years old and that he's loved and enjoyed the water his whole life.
Teaching is like passing the torch. Passing along the knowledge is a beautiful thing and that's what makes the human race move forward.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'll ask questions beforehand as well as assess the student's swim strokes and abilities in the water, and then develop an effective lesson plan to achieve our goals.
