About

Hello, my name is Alexis Ramirez. I am a classically trained singer with 7 years of experience (lyric Tenor), looking for any new beginner singers who want to learn how to sing and protect their voices. Graduated from El Camino College as a music major and acquired my AA degree and then graduated from CSUDH with my BA in music education. I am currently looking for students in the Southbay area (CA). Feel free to ask me any questions.

I enjoy seeing people get excited about their progress in singing and the enjoyment of learning new things.

    Frequently asked questions

I like to ask them what they are looking to do with singing/music. Are they just doing it for fun or for a career?

I have studied music for 8 years and focused 7 of those years in learning vocal techniques. I am well trained in other aspects of music like theory and musicianship.

I charge 50$ per hour for each lesson. I am able to be flexible at times depending on the case.

I started by attending CSUDH in 2019 and graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's in music education. I just found it very interesting teaching people about voice.

I have worked mainly with beginners in voice and mostly 1 on 1. but I can work with more experienced singers.

2018 when I went to go sing at Carnegie Hall in New York with my first college.

I would advise them to not be afraid to explore other genres of music and be open to opportunities.

They should think about what habits they need to start adopting and what will be healthy for them. In my opinion, the voice is a very sensitive instrument and we need to take care of it just as much as we do with our body.
