My name is Anton Maroun and I am very passionate about the learning of music and more specifically with building up the most complicated and yet the most simple instrument there is. The Voice. I have been teaching for the last few years and I teach piano and voice at a music studio in Encinitas. I have perform all throughout San Diego County in professional Operas and musicals. My specialty is building up the muscle of the voice because it is a muscle that needs to be worked out. I can get your voice to produce a bigger sound using less effort to produce.
I'll be happy to teach acoustic guitar to levels ranging from first-time player to intermediate/advanced. Though my main style is now folk, I've played in bands ranging from folk to alt. to punk to heavy metal, etc. and would be happy to help with any style within my capabilities.
Since I've never been classically trained to read musical notation I focus more on students with interest in learning while CREATING their own style to be able to play whatever song/style they'd like and eventually write their own music. I have much experience working with children and youth.
My teaching approach:
Students fly in from Europe and Japan to take lessons with A Dawn Of Music Studios. We offer lessons for all ages and levels in our 3 studio locations, serving all of San Diego County. Group Voice and Guitar Classes are available, as well as live video lessons.
My influences are:

My guitar lessons take place in:
