SwimpireInc has 20 years of experience teaching swim lessons. We carry WSI & LGI certifications by the Red Cross. Our swim coaches are personable and love to teach swimming to all ages, with a specialty for kids! Our Certified Swim Professional will access each student for their skill set, and reccomend an approach to creating and/or advancing a swimmer's abilities. We teach a wide range of ages and abilities including students with an extreme fear of the water, all the way up to private coaching for competitive swimmers.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our Certified Swim Professional will meet with the student (or parent and student) to access their current skill set. With over 20 years of experience, we've never met a student we couldn't teach to swim, or a competitor that we couldn't improve their talent. That assessment will include a comprehensive conversation to determine the student's desired objectiive. With a complete understanding of "skill set" and "objective, we will reccomend a lesson plan customized for each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years experience is teaching swim lessons, coaching competitive swim teams, hosting swim clinics, teaching certified lifeguarding and cpr.
WSI and LGI certified by the Red Cross.
Former Head Coach for the Sunrise Sharks.
Current provider for the Twin Rivers School District Summer Swim Program.
Current Assistant Head Coach for the Johnson Ranch Baraacuda's.

How did you get started teaching?
As a kid I loved the water! I swam at Oakmont High School for the swim team and played water polo. My family had a boat and we lived on the lake during the summer swimming and wake riding.
What types of students have you worked with?
We specialize in kids!
We can teach ANYONE to swim. From babies to the most aquaphobic student. We excel in teaching swimming and coaching to those students that desire to learn anything from the basics to improving their competitive edge.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Best day's ever is when I run into a former student, or parent of a student, and with the biggest smile they tell me that I changed their lives! <3
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Before you hire any coach or instructor, meet them. The flashiest webpage, the smoothest on the phone talker...is no substitute for the chemistry face to face. You are putting your, or your childs life, in my hands...you really ought to like me. :)
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1) Does the student want to swim, or does someone else want them to swim?
2) What are your REAL goals? Sure winning the Olympics is a great goal! But setting real achievable goals is the starting point.
3) Can you commit to consistant lessons. For most students, at least 6 lessons are required for improvement.
