About
I have a full service Concierge company that does anything that someone needs help with. From setting up for a party, to decorating, to food prep, to cooking classes and instruction. I have been a personal assistant since 2000 and have done catering for years. Took my first cake decorating classes at 16 and even made my own wedding cake (dont ever do that...lol )
I also worked on a TV food show for many years as a food stylist and enjoyed being a personal chef. I also did the cook and run scenario for people who want to look like they did it themselves, a few were proposal jobs (romantic beach picnics and high end clients). I enjoyed each and every one.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We chat and decide what the clients needs are. Is it a family gathering, girls night out party, romantic dinner, or just want to learn some cooking techniques.
How did you get started teaching?
I starting cooking at 15, cake decorating classes at 16, French cooking classes at 20. I also was taught by an amazing chef that graduated from Johnson Wales in Connecticut, when i worked on his cooking show in San Diego.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mainly worked with adults trying to learn different techniques and party planning. But I have a 20 year old daughter I am teaching to cook.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I did a grad party and made a mashed potato bar in glass champagne glasses. It was a total hit and even some of the other catering companies copied me. I also pride myself in setting up the venue so there is constant movement of guests so they mingle and have less stress at a party.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be patient, its a learning experience and make it fun, when cooking is fun then you are more inclined to stick with it and expand your skills in time. Cooking makes me relax and its a good stress reliever.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have a general idea of what you want to accomplish. I am good with giving ideas and adding a creative touch. Food is like art to me and I take this fairly seriously. But i enjoy this a lot also
