Westside Swim Lessons
About
We teach private and semi -private swim lessons of all ages and levels. The youngest we have taught is 4 months old and the oldest we have taught is 70 years old. We help you or your child learn technique while having fun and help build confidence in the water.
I enjoy how much this job gives back to the community in helping children and adults acheive life skills that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Living in sunny California, knowing how to swim is as important as learning to walk! there are so many outdoor and aquatic activities pertaining to swimming to enjoy throughtout your life so knowing the skill of swimming is essential and I love that I can help people with that.

I then continued teaching for Head Above Water while studying Kinesiology at SDSU and CSUN. In 2010 I decided to open up my own swim lessons company Westside Swim Lessons and have been serving the Westside of Los Angeles for 9 years and continure to teach all ages and levels and provide Lifguard services for private pool parties and corporate events.

School age childreen (5yrs- 12yrs)

Young Adults (18-25yrs)
Adults and Older Adults (25+ up) ( NO MAX AGE, it's never too late to learn!)
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do you reserach while looking for a good instructor. Here at WSL we pride ourselves in hiring qualified candidates that work well with kids yet have the skills to teach adults as well. Look for experience! Some swim schools hire people that don't neccessarily have the passion behind teaching just to fill the positions, but all of our instructors at WSL have a strong teaching background and the teachers take pride in their work making them that much better at what they do.
