About
Welcome to Hooper Haven Swimming! My teaching focuses on how to achieve the correct technique in order to, not only be safe by the water, but also have the most fun in whatever water activity awaits. I have over 15 years of competitive experience. From my start in summer league to the collegiate level, I have enjoyed every minute of my swimming career. I have also taught lessons, coached club and high school teams for almost as long! Let me help you or your littles achieve goals and find joy in swimming in the most serene setting.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I need my students to trust me. In order for that to happen, I get to know my students first. I need to understand why they need my help, and what I can do to best suite those needs! Every individual is different. So each lesson and the way I teach it reflects that!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am trained and certified with the Red Cross for the following: CPR, First Aid, Safety training for Coaches.
I believe that my extensive background in swimming, competing and coaching, has given me the most knowledge.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Basic, learn how to swim lessons are usually 30 minutes.
$45 for 30 min.
Training or Technical lessons are usually an hour.
$80 for 1 hour
*Note: the rate for the hour training sessions varies on how many you want to book.
How did you get started teaching?
I believe everyone should know how to swim. My life would not be complete without being able to swim comfortably in any situation. My passion for not only the sport, but the water, got me into coaching and teaching lessons.
