Mary Crawford is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Shotokan Karate and a 1st Degree Black in Shito-Ryu Karate. She has trained in Shotokan for over 31 years and has been teaching for over 28 years. She has a degree in Kinesiology-and a minor in Health Science. CPR/1st Aid/Health Care Provider Certified. Sports Medicine Instructor Fremont High School. Director for the Santa Clara Parks & Rec. Department Youth & Adult karate classes. Chief Instructor Safari Kids-Cupertino. Chief Instructor Bethel Lutheran-Cupertino Owner "Sports, Fitness & Karate." which hired and trained most of the physical education teachers for 4-5th grade in the Cupertino School District (1994-2008). Member of the USA National Karate-do Federation, which is the National governing body for the Sports of Karate under the Olympics.
