I started learning karate when I was 11 years old and became blackbelt at 14. I have been teaching karate for more than 30 years. It is my way of life! For my new students, I always emphasize discipline and proper behaviour. And once it gets into their system, learning how to defend themselves becomes easier and spontaneous. I have taught karate in the Philippines for 9 years and almost 30 years in the middle east. My students came from all walks of life, professionals, kids and others.I have been a consistent national player and champion in Philippines and Saudi Arabia both in kumite and kaya. I finished Bachelor of Science in Civil engineering and master in physical education. I'm presently the chief international instructor of our association. I also teach judo, muay Thai kickboxing, arnis, aikido. I'm also a fitness and weight training coach/ instructor.
What I like most is not only to impart my knowledge in self-defense but also the discipline and other qualities that you get from it like confidence, humbleness, dedication, alertness, integrity, righteousness, and patience. Students learn to appreciate life and friendship.
Students come to realize that the best self-defense is not to fight but stay out of trouble.
