About this pro

I teach positive and productive lessons in acoustic guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, bassoon, songwriting, music theory, and live performance.

My goal is to bring the best out of beginning to advanced musicians using a holistic and minimalist musical approach -- you only learn what you really need to know.

Can you pick up an instrument and play "Happy Birthday" in a key suited to your voice? I can show you how. Need theory tutoring? Notes are just A-B-C's and 1-2-3's, and I want to make it make sense to you. Let music theory be your friend, not your enemy.

Interested in songwriting? I can show you techniques for improving your technical and creative writing skills in any musical style. Live performer? I'll help you polish your ability to a brilliant shine, and help you develop emotional expression and honesty in performance.

Lee is a fantastic music teacher, very patient, kind, and super knowledgable about all things music. I have been a challenging music student my entire life and she got me past all of my hang-ups and down the path of becoming a proficient bass guitar player late in life. Her past music experience is vast and really enriches the learning experience.
