I've been teaching many years, originally as an enjoyable sideline to my busy live performance schedule, and more so now since the great recession slowed down live music.Though I still do a lot of live performances with different band, as well as recording and songwriting (check out my you tube channel), teaching has become a more full time passion.

I put a lot of work and creativity into my teaching, writing out my own methods, and priding myself in having a heavy arsenal of all types of songs that I can use for different levels of students, be it beginning or advanced. This is my job; to give the music someone wants in a way that will challenge them, yet is within the realm of their current abilities. Also, if I don't have fun on a lesson, I failed.

My inspiration for teaching is how i have evolved over the years. I'm good at what I do, and make friends instantly. When a student requests a song or particular style, I deliver. I teach all ages from 4 to 84, and crave diversity and new challenges.
