Glenntunes Guitar Lessons

Glenn Stiglic · Los Angeles, CA

Glenn Stiglic on teaching guitars, uke, banjo, mandolin and bass

I've been teaching many years, originally as an enjoyable sideline to my busy live performance schedule, and more so now since the great recession slowed down live music.Though I still do a lot of live performances with different band, as well as recording and songwriting (check out my you tube channel), teaching has become a more full time passion.

I put a lot of work and creativity into my teaching, writing out my own methods, and priding myself in having a heavy arsenal of all types of songs that I can use for different levels of students, be it beginning or advanced. This is my job; to give the music someone wants in a way that will challenge them, yet is within the realm of their current abilities. Also, if I don't have fun on a lesson, I failed.

My inspiration for teaching is how i have evolved over the years. I'm good at what I do, and make friends instantly. When a student requests a song or particular style, I deliver. I teach all ages from 4 to 84, and crave diversity and new challenges.
