Hi!
My name is Katie and for 3 years I worked as an Assistant Women's Tennis Coach at Loyola Marymount University (Division 1 College) and helped LMU get ranked top #55 in the country. I also recruited and worked with Veronica Miroshnicheko, top 20 collegiate tennis player who made it to the Sweet 16 in NCAA as well as Eva Voracek, another top 50 tennis player.
Before coaching at LMU I worked as an Assistant Tennis Director at Fig Garden Swim & Racquet Club were I organized a USTA JTT Local League, coordinated club tennis tournaments and activities, developed junior tennis programs, and conducted tennis lessons.
As a collegiate player, I was named All-BIG EAST in 2011 and 2012, and played at #1 singles in each of her final two seasons, reaching as high as #26 in the nation in singles play and #12 team in the ITA rankings.
A native of the Republic of Moldova, Vasenina Bercume was a standout player on the European junior circuit, finishing fifth in the Europe/Africa Zone Group III round-robin pool in 2009.
