As a young musician, Mandy Chen grew to receive local recognition for her diverse knowledge and advanced skills in both instrumental music and voice, propelling her early career and leading her to hold a multitude of leadership roles. A classically trained pianist, violinist, and singer, her credits include conducting concerts as Student Director of the Davis Madrigals, serving as a soloist, 1st violinist and harpsichordist with the DHS Baroque Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, and becoming the second of only two qualifying recipients of the Nicole Auclair Memorial Scholarship Award. Driven to challenge herself further, Mandy graduated from high school with multiple honors at 16, and relocated to the Los Angeles area in 2014. Mandy is currently studying at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music to obtain a BM in Choral/Vocal Music Education. Her musicianship skills are lauded by professors and her versatility continues to be an asset. As a student, she is learning about how to be a teacher, and to further improve upon her skills in voice and many instruments. Mandy is excited to be involved in the thriving hub of both the LA classical music and pop industry.
