I enjoy getting to know my clients and students and finding out what they love and are interested in but also the challenges they are or have experienced that they share with me. This allows me to better understand their concerns and setbacks so I can support them with encouragement, tips, tools, and information where it might be needed but hasn't yet been addressed.
I love to see people flourish and build confidence in themselves with self-care and personal growth. People are comfortable just being themselves when they are in a positive environment and are treated with respect and kindness. It's very fulfilling to help them improve their lives through a positive relationship with their bodies.
I have been working with Morgyn Danae for about 4 months. I was a practicing yogi with a dance background and started noticing consistent pain and tightness in my hip. I reached out to Morgyn and she assessed the pain and the trauma which it was connected to and built a rehabilitation program based on my needs, with a focus on core strengthening and dance movement – from a more feminine/yin space. Over time, I started to notice a significant decrease in tightness and inflammation and a definition in my ab muscles – all without strenuous exercising. I find that to be a huge bonus in addition to healing trauma through somatic therapy, increasing my flexibility and range of movement in a very holistic way. I’m very grateful to have found her healing work and benefit from her sessions in numerous ways. I’m excited to get back to dancing!
I do offer a 20 minute free consultation if you're interested in private sessions and want more information about the work. We meet via video call where I can give you an overview and answer your questions, concerns. This helps us see if we're a good fit and we move forward from there.
Then I start with an Assessment to discuss your background and assess your movement patterns and habits. This helps me to develop your program and support your progress.
My background in dance, fitness training, corrective and functional fitness, breathwork, meditation, and massage therapy has given me a really strong background in working with the body-mind-spirit connection.
I've also worked in the area of emotional healing and trauma recovery for over 20 years so I pay attention to the mind-body-spirit connection and how our beliefs, emotions, and experiences also affect our health and how we move.
