Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my beginner swimmers was afraid of the water and refused to get in the water or put her bathing suit on. I asked mom if I could bring her in with her leggings on. Mom agreed.
I picked her up put her on my hip. Walked back into the water. Showing her she was safe with me. By the end of the lesson she was jumping into the water into my arms. It's been a couple years since that day and I hear she's a fish Swimming all over the pool. More they have trouble getting her out.
I have another student who had a similar story. That will be joining a Swim club in the fall. This is why I do what I do. It's a passion not a job.
