Raul Slaps Music

My name is Raul Ontiveros. My main focus as an educator is to help guide my students to their goals. Whether they desire to perform on stage with others, or record for their own enjoyment. The moment I witness a breakthrough during a session is a delightful feeling to see the least. I have nearly 4 years of experience in teaching. My teaching method is to accurately guide a student with a teaching style that will be best for their learning experience. My courses will include music theory to help guide the process.

I have 18 years of experience in guitar. Self taught from the start, then obtaining new knowledge at Modesto Jr College.

17 years of experience in bass guitar. 11 years of experience in trombone .

I have experience from high school marching band, jazz band, symphonic band, concert band, jazz combo, and winter percussion. As I left high school, I started to perform gigs more often. Recently in the past 5 years I have been gigging consistently mainly on bass and trombone. From rock bands in a bar to acoustic sets in winery's.
