Dance Lessons With Megan Hope
About
Hi there! My name is Megan Pastrallo and I’m 24 years old. I’ve been dancing my whole life and I turned that passion into teaching a few years ago. Whether you’re looking for a choreographed dance for your wedding or a private ballet lesson for your toddler, I always come into my lessons fully prepared and excited to help you learn. I teach all ages as well as all levels so if you’ve never danced before that’s okay! Getting a new student excited about dance is one of my favorite parts about teaching.
I graduated from CBU with a degree in Theatre: Performance. I performed professionally with Theatre Royale and trained at South Coast Conservatory in Orange County. I also worked at Fox Dance Studio as a ballroom, tap, jazz, and ballet instructor as well as a wedding choreographer.
I teach over 20 genres of ballroom as well as line dancing, tap, ballet, jazz and musical theater. If you’re looking to have a group take class or take a private lesson I’m available for either! I look forward to dancing with you!
Here are the different partner style dances I teach: East Coast Swing, Salsa, Bachata, Rumba, Cha Cha, Lindy Hop, Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Country Two Step and Nightclub Two step.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing ranges depending on how many people are taking the lesson as well as the distance.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always had a love for theater and dance. It has been my outlet my entire life so I greatly enjoy getting to create that outlet for someone else! Watching a new student fall in love with dance the way I did makes teaching so fulfilling.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all ages and experiences! Whether it's a 4 year old wanting their first ballet lesson or someone in their 30s wanting to learn some swing. I love teaching people of any ages and abilities.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Decide why you are learning. Is it for fun? Exercise? An upcoming performance or competition? This will decide how frequently you should be taking lessons as well as what goals we need to set!
