About
I have been working in musical theater since 1972. I have been a dancer, musical theater actress, done tv and film. Since 1996 I have directed over 50 shows and coached hundreds of students. I am very familiar with the college and conservatoryvaudition processes and requirements for vocal performance and musical theater. My Studio has won Best Vocal Studio in the Temecula Area 6 years in a row! My best quality is choosing the right song for the singer! This can make or break you in the audition process!
I love working with young people and helping them gain confidence as they build their voice and acting skills! I LOVE seeing my students on stage. I try to get them on-stage as much as possible!

How did you get started teaching?
I was working as a musical theater "gypsy" from 1981-1995. In December of 1995 I was in a serious car accident that left me in a wheel chair for a year. When I recovered, I was unable to dance professionally so I began volunteering at local community and regional theater companies. As I worked with more people, I began gettting asked to assist with audition preparation, which in turn led to teaching, then producing and directing. I now run a non-profit theater company, but make my living teaching privately.
What types of students have you worked with?
Musical Theater youth and adults. Vocal Performance majors. Cruise Ship Vocalists, contestants on La Voce Kids (the voice kids), students preparing for University Auditions.
