About this pro

I teach dancers the foundation of dance, from technique, to dance history and introduce them to different dance styles and choreography. I give them experiences to perform locally at events, compete at dance competitions and give them the opportunity to perform in the Dance the Magic Disneyland parade as a featured dancer. I care about our students and want to see them be the best version of themselves.

I enjoy seeing our students grow and develop over the years. It's rewarding to see their confidence build up. Your not only teaching dance but life lessons that can help them in life

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to know what their previous dance experience is. If they have had no experience I like to start slow and introduce them with beginning skills. I like to see how fast they can pick up and go at their speed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I've been a trained dancers for 40 years. I'm trained in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Lyrical, Cheer, Pom, Salsa, Ballet Folkorical, Heels, and Line Country Dance. I have B.A degree in Dance & Theatre from Sacramento State Univeristy. I danced in a touring company at Sac State and choreographed dance shows. I was apart of Sacramento "Best Of Broadway" Show. I was a feature dancer and singer in the show. I was featured on Fox Television show "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 7. I've taught in the Napa School District for 5 years. I was apart of a Semi-pro Cheer Team for the Northbay Rattlers Football.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Please inquire within for pricing. I teach group classes and private lessons in person and online through Zoom.

How did you get started teaching?

I've been teaching for 17 years and started teaching young kids and adults at a local studio and fell in love with it.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students from the age of 2 years old all the way up to adults. I have had the privilage of working with special needs students to elderly people who have had parkinson disease.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I really enjoy when my dancers perform in the dance community. It's nice to give back to the community and its brings a smile to people's faces when we perform for an event.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

You look for someone who will break down the movement and invest in making you the best dancer you can be. They want to see you improve and give you the tools to help grow. They need to have years of experience in dance and good credentials.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

They need to express what goals they would like to achieve through dance. Where do they see themselves going with dance. Is this something for fun  or do they want to make this a profession and audition for dance opportunites.
