About
Teaching everything about singing and the human voice keeps me immersed in it! As a recording artist, performer, singer/songwriter I need to stay in the game so teaching keeps me right there! I'm in it with you everyday!
Healing artists find their voice, strengthen their voice and confidence, overcome mental & physical obstacles is incredibly gratifying since I've been there...helping others to get through the things that hold them back from their dreams is divine work!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will first discuss the clients needs then make a plan and execute.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began private vocal training at 12, began professionally singing at 13, won tons of competitions and a full ride to college on my voice alone, quit taking lessons and began giving to keep myself challenged, I currently have a small recording studio offering analog and digital options, I have a working studio a couple of bands and my whole life's been music, check out my videos! I don't have a degree from a college I have about 20 years of proper vocal technique training behind my belt from a dozen well known and some not so well known teachers who taught me how to become the artist I am today, not every teacher is a right fit for every student and every student (me included because no one ever masters music!) and must make a practice of always pushing themselves beyond what they imagined they could do- having a new perspective brings that growth.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
In person sessions are available by request and vary depending on your city, your needs and my availability. In studio sessions in San Diego are also available by request.
MOST OF MY STUDENTS ARE VIRTUAL! I was hesitant to begin virtual teaching but with my hectic schedule as an artist myself and the amount of illness out there I've gone almost completely virtual and ITS TOTALLY working for my clients voices AND their pockets.
try a virtual session and see for yourself!
How did you get started teaching?
I got to a point in my life where taking the lessons was over for me mostly, though I will go back for tune ups or listen to my students when they see my bad habits come out...but I started teaching and fit me I get the same amount of growth from it as if I was being taught too. So, I guess it's just as much for me as the student. I love the voice, I love the challenge to find a specific emotion, thought, image or physical movement to reach its maximum potential. All clients are different, my teaching style is tailored to you specifically and will include physical, emotional and nutritional support as these have a huge impact on your instrument.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a teacher who you feel comfortable with, it's kind of like finding a therapist mixed with a life/personal trainer. You need to feel comfortable to be who you are and feel comfortable making mistakes in front of this person. That's why we have lessons and warm up time so when it's time to perform that's all out of the way.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your 1 month goal? 3 months? 6?
Do you want to just learn how to sing better or are you interested in theory piano guitar or recording?
