Melissa Spanish Help
About
The best part of my job is when my students feel the progress they have made and feel more confidence in their skills. I encourage each student to find what works best for them and we go at a pace that is comfortable for them but still pushes them a bit to build on their skills more each lesson.
Working new solutions to get past a challenge is probably my favorite thing to work with a student. Having the chance to see how a student goes from being frustrated at a lesson to moving on to the next level with confidence in themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like talking to the student to see where they are at and work towards whatever goal they have in mind they would like to achieve. I do plan out lessons and follow up with my students as much as possible so they know they can come to me with anything they are struggling with.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work as a Spanish Teaching Assistant in Santa Monica and also work as an after school instructor for Buena Park Middle School.
