I have been a dancer and choreographer for over 10 years. I have been living and dancing in the bay area my entire life. I went to San Franscico state university and recieved my BA in Dance in 2015. Over the years I have done many different styles of dance and I have experience dancing in:
Ballet, Jazz, modern, tap, pilates and yoga
Haitian dance, belly dance, hula hoop
Ballroom dance, swing, salsa, bachata, tango, waltz, fox trot, cha cha, samba
I can help any student learn to dance, improve their technique and rhythm. I've worked with advance dancers and beginners and I can help you find your inner performer.
Be Iridescence is a glitter company I started as a way to express my art. We do dance videos, glitter fun and costume and desgin. If you like arts and crafts, being creative and moving your body we we have a great time together.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we can talk about what are your dance goals and what would you like to get out of our time together. What are you looking to learn. Do you want to improve technique, look great on the dance floor, get ready for a wedding or special event?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in dance from San Francsico State
I have 10+ years as a dancer and choreographer
I have worked with kids as young as 5 years old all the way to senoirs over 55 years old.
I have worked with experienced dancers, beginners and people who are looking to show off on their big wedding day.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge by the hour but the rate is based on what the project is and how long the lessons will last over a monthly period.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching young in high school and as I went to college I worked in dance studios all over the bay area. I have worked with various elementary schools in the bay area and east bay and have had the pleasure of working with many different styles of students.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students who are looking for fun, exercise and some who are looking to impove their abilities. I've had the opportunity to help students from different backgrounds and communities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love any event where people can come together for fun in dance and music. Their is a bay area event in jack london where they host a dancing under the stars where people come out have a short dance lesson and then have the opportunity to dance with different people have fun and be active.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say contact the teacher and see if you two are a good fit. Having a teacher to work with you either privately or in a small group can really help your learning grow quickly. Find a teacher who loves what they do and you can't go wrong.
