I studied African Popular dance growing up in Ghana and during my 1st and 2nd degrees at the University of Ghana.
As a dance teacher and researcher, I have been interested and Fascinated by the contemporary culture and the new birth of dances that come with it. Azonto, Shorkie, Gwaragwara, Etighi, Gweta, Sankoro, etc., are some of the Popular dance explored in this class.
And in my teaching, I employ techniques that break down movement for easy practice and assimilation.
