I'm a qualified experts and professional in the areas I teach. Over 35 years experience in all areas, from self defense, to sports to basic land survival (land navigation, hiking, camping, to certain weapons). I come from an athletic, military and law enforcement backgrounds. Students will have fun while learning and honing new skills, confidence and ability to protect themselves in most environments. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Teach fundamentals followed by bridge building practical exercises.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Years of sports training and competition, military training, law enforcement training, and various instructor courses and certifications

Prices vary depending on time and length of the sessions. Some activities I teach have extra costs involved that I have no control over.
How did you get started teaching?
Every phase of my career has led to training. I've always been selected to train by those above me. This has also led me to consulting.
What types of students have you worked with?
The general public, military, police and security personnel and private citizens. I've also trained women's groups. Neighborhood watch teams, LGBTQ groups, corporations and depending on the topic, children.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I'm fond of everything I do. There is no one thing that stands out above all others. I meet a lot of great people, many of whom are repeat customers. And that fact that I teach a variety of topics, I get to meet people from all walks of life.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Examine their background, experience and credentials. Interview the instructor.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Depends on the topic. The idea of taking lessons involves investing in your own equipment. The student should determine if they can afford such costs. Can you afford the costs of practicing? These considerations are also discussed in training.
