How did you get started teaching?

After many years of performing I wanted to also become a dance teacher. Being trained in a wide range of dance styles, Latin Dance happened to be my biggest passion. After having traveled the world for many years I have experienced different Salsa and Bachata styles from its roots.

What types of students have you worked with?

As for Latin dance; Couples and Groups with the age between 30-60 years.

Also I teach kids between 3-8 years on summer camps and as a sub for ballet and tap.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Follow your intuition, the feeling in your stomach that you get when you read a persons profile. Does it makes you happy, makes you smile when you visualize yourself working with this teacher? Do you get excited and enthusiastic? Than it’s all positive and you can move forward to set up the classes :)

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

How to go about cancelling classes, rebooking?

What level they want to achieve and what budget they want to reserve for making this happen.
