We believe in music education. My students have earned awards with The National Guild of Piano Teachers, through The American Colllege of Musicians. I have been teaching for 30 years, and I love every minute of it. I stay on top of new music and teach all styles of music.
I am the chairperson for the National Piano Guild for the Oceanside Chapter, and have seen many students through their prestigious High School Music Diploma program.
As the director of Giacoletti Music, I make sure our teachers share the same passion for music and for teaching that I have. We look forward to meeting you!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
People learn best when they are comfortable and having fun, so we make sure our teachers and students are matched well and that everyone is on the same page. We help students identify goals and then help them move towards achieving those goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All teachers are trained to teach before starting to work at Giacoletti. We meet students where they are and move forward from there using various teaching methods and techinques. Most instructors at Giacoletti hold music degrees, and those who do not are experienced teachers.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons are $150 per month for private lessons and $110-120 per month for group lessons. We currently teach group piano, ukulele, guitar, and drums.
How did you get started teaching?
A note from the director...
I've been teaching since I was in high school, which was nearly 30 years ago. There is nothing I would rather do than teach people how to play an instrument. I am grateful to be in the position to not only have a full schedule of private students, but also to be able to impart my teaching knowledge. When teachers come on board I have the opportunity to share my many years of experience with them, so they can be the best teachers they can be.
What types of students have you worked with?
We teach students from birth to seniors! We all enjoy working with people and sharing the joy that learning music brings. The enviornment at Giacoletti Music is a warm and welcoming--and we look forward to meeting you.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We enjoy our relationship with a local senior living residence. Every 6 to 8 weeks we go and visit the local home and students of all ages and levels play for the residents. It is a lovely community out reach and our students, their parents, friends and seniors enjoy these special performances.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would encourage students to not just look for the studio with the lowest prices. Find out who the director of the program is, find out who the teachers are, what programs are offered, and about the student success rate.
