O Studios Dance Classes

our passion for teaching and giving back is our number one priority. We do not limit our students because of inablities. but ability, we work hard, we give our students the very best instruction for advancement and self esteem. We love what we do and we love when our students are able to take the lessons and act on them. We make it affordable and accessible to parents so that your child gets the best not a bunch of cuteness. We are strict, but fun, we allow the kids to explore and enjoy dance without the pressure of measuring up to anyone but themselves. our studio is all about giving great instruction and techinque so the students can thrive and grow into a more stronger person while having a talent molded, shaped, and cultivated.

I felicia oliver, grew up in the inner city of los angeles, i was taught dance from some the best pioneers of dance all over the greater los angeles area, like: Lula washington, Chester whitmore, karen mc donald, kenny long, pat taylor, lady walquer, diane de franco browne, ka-ron brown, the list is endless.

I graduated from the Los Angeles County High School For the Arts. I have traveled with Joanie bartles as a silly time dancer in the childrens artist arena, I was and still am a prominent member of the Black Ballet Jazz/ Central Ave dance ensemble with Chester Whitmore, i have performed in various musicals as "Eubie" and "Fats Waler". i also have a roots in praise dance/worship dance. I have traveled internationally, Locally, state wide.

at the moment I am currently working the very prominent establishment YMCA ORGANIZATION, for 4 years, where when I started we had two classes,now we have 8 ranging from ages 2 to adult. i work well with children. most of my dance classes are children based and children orientened.

I have been teaching for 20 years of my 32 years of dance and dance experience, i also have had a chance to work with special need children. I truly enjoy my gift and craft of teaching. I am currently working in a space in my home, working on expanding O Studios. i Love dance, i can teach ballet, jazz, modern, tap, contemporary, swing, broadway, and praise dance.
